For her 8th birthday, we took McKaylie to Build-a-Bear. It was the first time I had gone there and it was pretty fun. You get to choose a stuffed animal (there was probably about 30 to choose from), stuff it, brush and fluff it's fur, dress it, name it and make a birth certificate for it. She chose the scruffy dog and named it Jenny. She picked out some cute clothes, right down to the Hello Kitty underwear!!! (Which have not been on the dog much since we brought it home--go figure!) We also let Noah get a stuffed animal, too. He chose a black dog and named it Barker--funny, huh! I don't have a picture of his, though. He also picked clothes out for his, including camouflage boxers! They had a great time, which was the point of the trip, right?! We walked around in the mall and had a good time with the whole family. McKaylie's been sleeping with Jenny since she brought her home. That makes me feel like it was a good choice for her 8th birthday.
