Of course we had to take Grandma Jo to the beach. 
She couldn't visit us here in Virginia and not visit the beach at least once. The kids had an early release day from school, so we went to the beach that afternoon. 
It was a wonderful day. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold. There was a slight breeze. It was just gorgeous really. We walked along the beach, looked for seashells and just had a nice relaxing time. It made me miss Chad, but that was ok, too, I guess. 
I couldn't help but think that it would be a perfect afternoon if he was there with us. I loved that afternoon. We didn't stay for a long time, but it was really nice and I wish we had more days like that.
