We took the kids on Saturday and let them pick out another guinea pig. They picked a white one with brown and black on his face and it looks like he has a mohawk down his back. He's very cute and has a completely different personality than Skittles. Oh, his name is Snickers. So, now we have Skittles and Snickers. I've decided there are two reasons for getting another guinea pig. 1) Poor Skittles is being malled half to death by my kids because every time they're within 10 feet of him they wanted to be petting/holding him. So the poor thing usually had 4 pairs of hands grabbing at him. We figured with 2 guinea pigs, each pig would probably only have 2 sets of hands grabbing at him at one time. That way, they might live longer! 2) I'm a pathetic person who just lets her pets completely take over, thus, Skittles needed a friend because guinea pigs like to be together! Oh, let's make it 3 reasons.....3) I don't have quite enough to do while Chad's deployed!
