Hooray for PE

McKaylie and Vance had a PE program at their school last night. They've been learning and working on routines set to music in the PE classes and then they perform for the parents. They do it every year and it's always lots of fun to watch. It's also the only program where all the grades perform in one show. The Kindergarteners (McKaylie) did the chicken dance and they were soooo cute. I loved it.

This is McKaylie waiting with her class for things to start. (The very young looking lady sitting 3 people over from her is her teacher, Miss Brody)

Walking around the circle waving at the parents.......

Gettin' down to the chicken dance!

They were all soooo darn cute!

The fifth graders (Vance) did a basketball routine.

This is where Vance had me sit so that I could have a good view of him........good view, huh? (It actually wasn't too bad, they turned around a lot)

It was great. You could tell how hard they had all been working.

It was lots of fun watching all the grades. The first graders did a version of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, but I think it was Arms, Hips, Legs, and Feet. The second graders did theirs with hoola-hoops and they were good at it. The fourth graders did some hip-hop line dancing with jump ropes. That was very cute too. I missed the 3rd graders because Noah had to go to the bathroom. (I knew it would happen, I'm just glad that he didn't decide he had to go during McKaylie or Vance's). This school has great teacher's and that includes their PE teachers, too.

We walked back home (we live right next door to the school) and sat out on our back porch and ate popsicles. It was soooo nice outside last night. I could have sat out there for hours. It was a great night! Just one thing missing, you know.......................
