Noah got his bandages taken off yesterday. He was very happy to go and have the doctor remove them. However, he didn't like seeing the stitches. There are 4 stitches in each thumb. It upset him to see them. I think he thought that we would take the bandages off and everything would be normal underneath. 
I guess I should have prepared him better for what to expect. The stitches will fall out on their own within this next week. Until that happens, Noah's decided to cover the stitches with bandaids. He doesn't take the bandaids off very often at all. The good news, though, his thumbs work perfectly now. Even he was impressed that he could straighten them. The doctor told us that they looked great and that he even expected them to be a little stiff and they weren't. 
So, two surgeries down with great results from both! I'm glad they're done!!
