Me: "It hurts when you swallow?"
N: "No, it hurts when the food goes down."
Me: "Does it hurt when you drink your juice?"
N: "Only when it goes down."

He could have meant that spot right at the junction of your ribcage, directly below the sternum. But in the anatomy book of small children, I wouldn't be surprised if that registered as chest, as opposed to any part of the alimentary canal.
