I think having everyone make a Valentine for each other is a great idea! Zoe & Emily still have Valentine parties where they make envelopes to put their Valentines in and they exchange cards with their classmates, and have goodies...although Emily's class this year made a fruit salad for their party because they have been learning about nutrition. I hope our school system doesn't put an end to these Valentine parties in the future. The holiday parties are definitely shorter and less involved than they were when I was in school.
My kids are officially on vacation. Good luck to the both of us!
