5 Senses Saturday



Sight:

  • toys all over our little yard
  • dust flying everywhere from sweeping out our storage shed
  • waves breaking on the beach
  • my kids searching for seashells
  • Chad smiling at me

Sound:

  • the weed eater
  • "Hanna Montana" on TV
  • Vance telling me all about shooting guns with the scouts
  • a lot of whining from McKaylie
  • the waves breaking on the beach

Smell:

  • fresh cut grass
  • dirt
  • sea weed on the shore (can you tell where we went????)
  • toothpaste in Noah's hair
  • sweaty clothes

Touch:

  • Hugs and Kisses from Chad
  • dirty pots in the storage shed
  • cold slushie in my hands
  • splintery wooden fence
  • sand between my toes

Taste:

  • Watermelon slushie
  • pizza
  • cool water
  • Mountain Dew (that one comes up a lot doesn't it)
  • marshmellow flavored jelly bean
