The school called me yesterday and told me that Noah had run into a tree and hit his eye. She assured me that his actual eye was fine, but that he'd scratched it up pretty good.
It was all puffy when he came home and it made me hurt just to look. It must have been hurting him, too, because he laid around with an ice pack on it for awhile. He also complained about a headache. Poor guy! I felt terrible for him.
(At least he didn't need stitches!--hee hee)

Birthday Playdate
Something else that I'm totally not ready for with McKaylie . . . . .boys! She invited one boy. He was totally ok with being the only boy by the way. He actually was really late because he had a baseball game, which was ok by me! I shouldn't complain too much, really. He was the best behaved one there, extremely polite! It was nice.

Baby Blankets
Here's 2 baby blankets I made. There's 2 women in our ward (actual sisters) that are both having boys the end of this month. I was pretty happy with how they both turned out!

Tadpoles
Here's the tadpoles the kids brought home from the pond the other day. All the "black" in the bucket is tadpoles. Noah brought some to school for one of his teachers. She was so excited to get them and Noah was so excited to share them!

Checkin' For Ticks
The kids went to a pond by our house the other day to catch tadpoles. McKaylie came home with 3 ticks crawling on her and then we found another one on our wall the next morning! Ohhh, I hate those little buggers! They give me the willies!!!
This place seems to be infested with them! At school they have "tick buddies" for after recess. Your "tick buddy" checks out your clothes and hair to make sure there aren't any ticks on you when you come back in to class! YUCK!
